Should Learnhub offer LIVE discussions and debates? (Discussion)

Poshmonkey saidSun, 14 Sep 2008 21:01:42 -0000 ( Link )

I think it would be a great idea if on Learnhub there would be the possibility to participate in LIVE discussions. Let’s say every member could join a LIVE discussion of his/her interest just by signing up. A weekly preview could be provided with all the topics and then every hour (24 hours a day and 7 days a week) there would be LIVE discussions going on…. Let’s say you would miss a discussion there would be still a chance to look at a recording or to see the content of the discussion in writing. (I guess taking a software who would be able to do that ….)

This would be great!! I love the idea. Probably would take some time to set up, but I certainly woud support it. It would certainly be good for Kathy and I as we work abroad and would love to bring together some of our German colleagues together in discussion with learnhub colleagues. A nice blend of learning styles. Also, I would love to hear some of your voices…:)

Hey PoshMonkey, do you have any examples of other sites that do this well?

I’ve got some ideas how this could be achieved (it’s not simple though). But it’s definitely worth considering.
